1. That Council endorse the Manawatu Gorge Solution submission from Accelerate25.

1. ISSUE
NZTA are seeking submissions on Manawatu Gorge Alternatives, with submissions closing on 25 October 2017.
Accelerate25 are seeking Council’s support for the attached submission.
2. BACKGROUND
NZTA has identified four options, from an initial 13, alternative routes to develop a long-term transport solution to connect the Manawatu and Hawkes Bay/Northern Wairarapa.
3. NEXT STEPS
Council can decide whether or not to support the Accelerate25 submission and that outcome would be notified to Accelerate25.
